I figured I could give this a shot. I mean, maybe I’ll land on a fat kid, jumping off the bridge like everyone else and all. I think what it really came down to for me was a combination of things; I have alot of free time, and when I was in 2nd Nature I got the chance to write alot, and there was defiantly a connection there. Not so much that i was good at it, or even that I liked it (I didn’t at the time) but that getting my ideas and thoughts out on paper brought about a feeling of relief…some sort of positive release from negative stress throughout the day. I also like telling stories, and for the last few years I’ve had too many people telling me they would read my book if it was written about the crazy-ass life I lead. maybe true. Funny thing is they never said they would buy the book, so maybe I should focus on marketing towards libraries….

So here is my goal: 3-4 times a week I’m going to write, either about something that happened that day, the day before, or stories from my past. I feel no shame in bearing all, because I’m not using my real name. The internet is neat like that, lots of anonymity(means you can be a dick on the internet cause the guy you piss off isn’t right there to punch your face).

Today I got sunburnt. Super fawking annoying, but hey, whats a whitey in California gonna do. I was out on the football field for about six hours, and sure enough, the tops of my arms and my nose are fried, although I have a nice set of white circles from wearing my sunglasses all day. I was helping out a friend at the high school combine, teaching the highschoolers how to properly warm up, stretch out, and perform the movements they are tested on getting ready to head to the college level. It was amazing to me how messed up some of these kids were, and how high of a level they could perform despite the fact they had tight muscles. Mostly Sophomores and Juniors….had a kid with a 4.41 40 yard dash…..another with a 36 in vertical leap…..yet another tossed out 40 reps on the 185 bench press….I think that was the most impressive number for the day by far…alot of kids are born fast, and id doesn’t take much to develop that speed…..but the time it takes to develop someone born strong, that type of strength….a much more rare gift….one of the Oakland Raiders son’s was there……talk about pressure….every time he missed a ball people yelling “Not going to get to the big time like that” and giving him shit…..in all likelyhood the kid knew more about football than most of the coaches there, shut up and let him get it right….and sure enough, he never made the same mistake twice….and he didn’t make mistakes very often either. 16 years old, 6’1 175 and quick cuts….made alot of the top defenders really embarrassed…..I’m a really health kid, I’m 6’0 170, but there was no mistaking me for him haha, had a natural athletic ability…..I should have picked better parents
